Cruise vs. Jolie: The Ultimate Action Showdown

Angelina Jolie is once again proving that anything a man can do, she can do better. 

The role model for tough girls everywhere is stepping in to Tom Cruise's shoes after the once unstoppable leading man dropped out of the upcoming project, "Edwin A. Salt."  Assuming that Edwin will now be an Edwina, Jolie will take over in Cruise's role as a butt-kicking CIA agent out to prove she's not trying to assassinate the President.

So is Jolie trying to prove that she is the ultimate action hero?  Or is she jockeying for the Matt Damon role in the proposed sequel to her quasi-bomb "The Good Shepard" (because we all know that movie would've been a hell of a lot more fun if Jolie had been the one doing the sheparding.)

Personally, I think this is just setting the stage for the showdown we've all been waiting to see.  Suri vs. Shiloh.  It's coming.  I can feel it.
