Kink in the Dark Knight Curse

"Dark Knight" curse theorists beware!  There's a problem with your theory.

Yes, Heath Ledger died shortly after completion of filming "The Dark Knight."  And yes, Morgan Freeman did get into horrible car crash and see his marriage dissolve shortly after the release of the film.  And yes, Christian Bale got into big trouble for assaulting his mother and...

But wait.  What's that you say?  Christian Bale isn't going to get into trouble after all?  According to the British press, no charges will be filed against Bale.  Looks like the police didn't quite buy the story peddled by Bale's mother and sister and now, they've withdrawn their claims.

So the Bat Man is not so dark after all.  And unless something happens to another "Dark Knight" cast member (knock on wood that nothing does), looks like this curse might be spent.
