They're Ba-ack
They're Ba-ack

Long before "The Dark Knight" curse, there was the "Poltergeist" curse. The Stephen Spielberg horror-fest was not only a thriller made to scare the pants off of you - it was dangerous to the people in the movie, too. Actresses Dominique Dunne was murdered by her boyfriend shortly after finishing the shoot. And Heather O'Rourke, little Carol Anne died shortly after filming the third film in the trilogy.
No matter how good the original, are the risks worth bringing this cursed series back to life? MGM sure thinks so. They've hired Juliet Snowden and Stiles White, the writers behind "Boogeyman," to bring the cursed Indian burial ground back from the beyond. Seems like a risky venture to me on many levels.
Messing with classic Spielberg is one thing. Dealing with a bunch of angry spirits who didn't want the movie made the first time around? That's a whole different level of spooky.
