For "Twilight" Dorks Worldwide

If you are a teenager girl, the parent of a teenage girl, or maybe a slightly pop culture obsessed slightly older than a teenager type, you may have been saddened when you finished the final chapter of Stephanie Meyer's book, "Breaking Dawn" and realized that it was time to put the "Twilight" series behind you - at least until the movie comes out in November.

But good news, dorky vampire fans like yours truely.  There are more books to come!  Meyer has posted the first chapter of "Midnight Sun," a companion book to "Twilight" for her readers' enjoyment (and of course, to promote the book that will no doubt be hitting bookshelves sometime next year).  The genius of "Midnight Sun" comes in the fact that it is written by uber-hottie vamp, Edward (soon to be played by "Harry Potter" actor Robert Pattinson) - he of the literally rock hard abs and amber eyes.  So all those girls with pictures of an emo vampire on their bedroom walls.  Now you'll get a little insight into his tortured soul.

If you're interested in reading the first chapter of "Midnight Sun," click here: http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_chapter1.pdf

And enjoy the vampire pain.

  • I'm psyched. Didn't I tell you it was a great series? Also, read her adult book, "The Host," which is adult only because the principle character is in her 20s -- or in her 100s. You be the judge.
