David Spade's a Daddy

A DNA test has proven that David Spade is indeed the father of a Playboy Playmate's new daughter.  E!Online reports that Spade, who briefly dated mother Jillian Welch, said he would absolutely take responsibility for the baby if it was his.  Well, it is, so congrats, pops.

Now here's my question.  Even if the baby wasn't his, why wasn't he claiming.  David Spade, who is not exactly the hottest man in Hollywood, managed to get a Playmate to admit to sleeping with him.  Now granted, this is the man who also inexplicably dated Heather Locklear, Lara Flynn Boyle and Rebecca Romijn (okay, that was just on a TV show, but still).  I don't know how this man does it, but I would think he'd want to claim every hot chick he can.  (I'm also a little blown away by how much he resembles Haley Joel Osment, see below)
